  • When your baby first enrolls at Falls Academy we ask that you fill out a feeding plan to ensure that your child is receiving the same nutritional quantities they do at home. As your baby grows this will change so be sure to update the feeding plan often to reflect changing needs.

  • No medication can be administered to the children by the staff. This includes antihistamines, non-aspirin fever reducer/pain relievers, non-narcotic cough suppressants, decongestants, ointment or lotion intended specifically to relieve itching or dry skin, and sunscreen. There are very few exceptions to this policy that need approval from the Director. Some of these exceptions could be EPI Pen, Asthma breathing machine, lotion for severe Eczema, and medicated diaper ointment. All medications must have a health care professional documentation detailing how long and what time of the day to administer the medication. All medications must be in their original container with a current date, the child’s name, name of the medication, dosage and mode of administration and name of prescribing physician or dentist on it. Medications will be administered to children only if the “Authorization to Administer Medication” form filled out by the parent is current and on file at the center. Always give the medication directly to the director. All medications are stored in a locked container out of the reach of children. Any unused medication will be returned to you or properly disposed of.
