What we collect

When you fill out the form on our contact page, we collect the information you type into it: your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide one, your child's age if you provide it, and whatever you write in the message field.

Enrolled families provide additional records that North Carolina child care licensing requires, including immunization records, a health assessment, and emergency contacts. Those are handled through our office and our childcare management system, not collected through this website.

How we use it

We use what you send us to answer your question, schedule a tour, place your child on a waitlist, or complete enrollment. That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

Who else sees it

Enrolled families communicate with us through Procare, a childcare management platform. Daily photos, meal and nap logs, and messages between families and teachers live in that system, and Procare's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data.

Beyond that, we share information only with service providers who help us operate the school, when the law requires it, or when we are obligated to report a concern about a child's safety. North Carolina law requires anyone who suspects child abuse or neglect to report it, and that obligation overrides confidentiality.

Cookies and tracking

We use two measurement tools. The first counts page views and where visitors arrived from. It sets no cookies and collects nothing that identifies you.

The second is the Meta Pixel, which we use to understand whether our Facebook and Instagram ads actually reach families. It does set cookies and it does share information about your visit with Meta, which is how ad measurement works. We do not send Meta your name, email, phone number, or anything about your child.

You can limit this. Browser settings and tracking-protection extensions block the pixel, and your ad preferences inside Facebook and Instagram control how Meta uses what it collects.

Your privacy choices

Several states, North Carolina not currently among them, give residents the right to opt out of having their information shared for targeted advertising. We honour those requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live. Contact us and we will exclude you.

Children's information

This website is written for parents and guardians, not for children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through this site. Information about a child that reaches us here comes from the adult filling out the form.

How long we keep it

Inquiry and waitlist information is kept as long as it is useful for responding to you, and we remove it on request. Enrollment and attendance records are kept for the period North Carolina child care regulations require.

Your choices

You can ask us what inquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reach out through our contact page and we will take care of it. Records we are legally required to retain are the one exception.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No website or electronic storage method is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
